Misty: Ready?

DJ: Ready whenever you two are! According to the map, it was at the very end of the hallway. Can you see it?

Misty: *squints* Nope it's a really long hallway. Guys I thought of something. What do we do if he (or she) is not there?

DJ: Oh...I never really thought of that. Without Ace, Jester, and Big Boss, do we stand a chance of rescuing Lui?

Hanna: It doesn't matter to me if we don't have any chance at all! I will do everything within my power to rescue him. I won't leave him there! You with me?

Misty: Yeah! what about you DJ?

DJ: I'm with you guys! Anything it takes to rescue Lui. What's our plan?

Hanna: At the moment, my plan is to walk through that door and see why this Big Boss wants to see us so badly. I'll possibly demand that he help us rescue Lui as well. Do you think the Big Boss might have a hidden reason for wanting to see us? Why else would he find our adventures so interesting?

DJ: Question # 1: Yes. Question # 2: Not sure, unless he thinks similarly to my EO... Ready to go see him?

Hanna: Most definitely. Shall we enter?

DJ: Yes, I believe we shall. *Walks toward door at far end of hall* Umm, do we just go in?

Voice from behind: Woohooo!

Other voice from behind: We're back! Did you miss us?

Hanna: Only your claim that you can get us where we need to go, other than that... no. Now what took you so long?!

Jester: We were held up on an emergency rescue mission.

Ace: Yeah, it was important for us but nothing that concerns you. So what are you up to? We haven't had the time to check up on you.

Hanna: We are right where you left us, heading toward this Big Boss person. Are we headed in the right direction?


Jester: No, unless you have to pee. Then go straight ahead.

Ace: Then let's go. It's the other way. Promise me one thing... you won't be shocked at the Boss' appearance, will you?

Hanna: I can promise you nothing, however I shall try my best to appear as if everything that has happened and will happen today is monotonously normal. Will that do?

Ace: Uhhh, sure...?

Jester: Enough messin around, lets go..... We're comin through the door now, walk carefully until your eyes adjust. It's really dark in here.

*Once all eyes are adjusted they see a throne with the back facing toward the party*

Soft voice, melodious voice: So you've finally brought them, no? Tell me, ones of Earth... can I truly reveal myself to dwellers of Earth?

Hanna: As you very well know, that is for you to decide. You had these Others bring us to you for a reason. May I ask why you wished to meet us?

Boss: I was watching you in this epic tale. It's almost like meeting a foreign celebrity.

*chair turns revealing a young girl no older than 16, with feline ears and a flicking tail dancing in the air. She is standing on the big chair.*

Boss: Call me Naomi. :) It is SO nice to meet you!

Jester: Is she not what you expected?

Hanna: Hmm... to tell you the truth, I didn't know what to expect. Seeing one like her does not surprise me at all, rather seeing her here is somewhat intriguing... Naomi, I very much appreciate your words. Since you are already quite up to date on the recent events, you know that it is my utmost priority to rescue a friend of mine. Can you help us?

Naomi: It surprises me it's not harder than this! No problem. And Jester, you get to stay here and run HQ while I'm gone for speaking out of turn! >:(

Jester: :( ....Whatever.

Naomi: Anyway, are you all packed and rested? It will be a long journey. I already have my stuff packed! :D

Hanna: I am willing to leave immediately; I am not sure about my companions though. They might want to rest some more. If you don’t mind my inquisitiveness, when did you begin watching us?

Naomi: Errr, hmm, it all seems so long ago...I believe it was getting interesting when you first turned evil. It was quite shocking to see, actually. I saw you fighting other people, and I thought you were pretty strong. As long as we're playing question tennis, how well do you cope with bad situations?

Hanna: Depends upon how bad the situation is really. Usually, I judge that by my friends' wellbeing. Why do you ask? Is the situation we're in now very bad?

Naomi: No, but it may become that way. I fear you might make a rash decision based on your friends well-being and not do the right thing. Do you take orders well, then?

Hanna: ….…

DJ: Hi, I'm back...had to use the restroom back there. So you're Big Boss?

Naomi: Hello! Yes I am, cutie!

Ace: Errr...*whispers to DJ* Sorry 'bout that. She's a little over-peppy.

Naomi: Do you want to rest before we set out?

DJ: Umm....no thanks, I'm all set. We've had quite enough time to rest waiting for Ace and Jester. How dangerous is this going to be?

Naomi: *eyes sparkle in anticipation* Haha! Very! >:D

Jester: *Mumbles* I hate it when she gets like this.

Naomi: Meet me at the entrance to Thorae, kay?

Ace: It's where we came in, I'll take you there, all right? Or would you prefer to go it alone?

Hanna: It's probably better that we go with you.

DJ: I agree with Hanna.

Hanna: Ready to go, CUTIE?

DJ: You weren't talking to me, were you?

Ace: I'm afraid she was.

Hanna: But of course! You don't see anyone else with such an adorable new nickname, do you?! *Snickers*

DJ: Why me...?????

Misty: *sigh* Poor DJ. I have no idea really.

Ace: Let's go.... *They leave the HQ with some strange looks shot at them*

Jester: Bye! Take care of Naomi for me, will ya?

DJ: You got it, I suppose.

Misty: Where are we headed anyway? I thought we were already in Thorae.

DJ: We are...we're headed to the entrance back to Earth now. Are you coming with us?

Misty: Oh ok. Yeah! Why are we going back? Don't we have to get Lui?

Hanna: I think that's why we're going back... What do you think we will do after we get there?

Misty: I don't know. What do you think?

Hanna: Hopefully something that will get Lui out. How long do you think it will take for us to get back there?

Misty: hmmm... just a few minutes once we get to the portal.

DJ: Ah, that's good! What are we going to do once we actually get to the portal?

Hanna: I guess we'll find out soon enough. *Sees Hairam in the distance* DJ, does that person up ahead look somewhat familiar to you?

DJ: If it's who I think it is... Do you think she's the same one we saw earlier?

Hanna: Only one way to find out! *Hanna and DJ walk closer* Hey, you! Imposter!

Hairam: *Smiles sweetly* Imposter? What are you talking about?

DJ: We're talking about you! Where's the real Hairam?

Hairam: *Giggles* Silly DJ, I AM the real Hairam. Really!

Hanna: Cut the act! You are not Hairam. You think I wouldn't recognize a fake when I see one?

Hairam: *Stops smiling* You...you don't believe me? Hanna, we're best friends... you don't believe your own friend?

DJ: Apparently not...and neither do I! What's going on here?

Hairam: *Smirks evilly* When you first walked up to me, I admit, most of what I told you was a lie. I am telling you the truth, however, when I say I am Hairam.

Hanna: You lie!

Hairam: Truly? Then tell me, why do you have such a hard time deciding that I am not Hairam? I can see the indecisiveness in your eyes! After all, you are best friends with Hairam…

DJ: Hmm... Should I leave and let you two settle this?

Hairam: Hmph, you should stick around, Hanna here can't do anything without her friends. Pathetic really, she strives so hard to protect them, yet she can do nothing without them. Such a loser.

Hanna: Who are you?!?!

DJ: Well, she certainly doesn't sound like the real Hairam... How can we settle this, 'Hairam'?

Hairam: For one, you can stop calling me that! The name's Ember. Second, you can get me out of here.

Hanna: What are you talking about?

DJ: Ember...so that's your real name! I assume you mean the Hairam disguise you're wearing?

Ember: Psh, hahaha, I wish! I'm her evil other!

Hanna: What? How is that possible? She...she keeps her evil inside...locked up ...like I do!

DJ: Wait...I thought that Hairam was an other of Hanna. How could an other have an other?

Ember: You thought what?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! What a loser! Hairam is Christina's other! And if you don't know who Christina is, you're even dumber than you look!

Hanna: Hey! Do NOT insult him like that! What's this deal with Hairam's evil being separate from her?

Ember: Ah, yes. She never told you! I was becoming for too much for her to handle on her own. Eventually, I escaped and became myself. Then she locked me up in a mirror. Little did she know that it was a portal that actually granted me access to this world.

Hanna: She would have told me if her evil escaped!

Ember: Nah, she would have never told you. You can't even control your own evil, can you?

DJ: Ha, that's where you're wrong, Ember! So you're Christina's other then, right?

Ace: Ok, who's Hairam? And Christina? Sounds like things that will complicate our mission even more. Naomi's gonna kill me for being late. Kindly explain what’s going on, will ya?

Ember: Certainly! I need you to help me escape this horrible place. It's no fun not being able to hurt people on Earth with feelings! Whether you like it or not, I'm coming with you!

Hanna: Never! No matter where or who you came from, we're not going to let someone as evil as you through!

Ember: Heh, try and stop me!

Hanna: My pleasure! *draws sword and addresses traveling company* Who wants to help me take her down?

Ace: 0_o Ummmm....ok? Listen. I don't know who you are, but if you're an enemy of Hanna, you're an enemy of mine. *Draws blade* *Blade glows golden* Yaaaah! *Dashes toward Ember with blinding speed and slashes, dealing the first blow* Who ARE you?!

Ember: *Blocks attack with a sword of her own* I am everything Hairam isn't! Good thing too, she's pathetic! *attacks and duels with Hanna* Her emotional stability is worse that yours! I wouldn't be surprised if she jumped off a bridge after what she saw on Everest!

Hanna: *Slashes at Ember* What do you mean? She never went to Everest!

Ember: *blocks* Not until after it was blown up, you mean. She came to help you and all she found was a smoking pile of rubble. She believes you're all dead! Hilarious isn't it?!

Ace: If Jester were here he might think so... It takes more to beat you, huh? *Jumps swiftly over Ember and kicks her* Sorry. I usually don't hit girls! Are you from Earth? *Slashes three times with deathly speed*

Ember: *blocks attack and kicks Ace* Of course I'm from Earth, you dweeb! Seriously, why are all the good guys so dense all the time? I mean, Hanna didn't even want to know about Hairam's well-being once she knew her precious Lui was in danger! Pitiful!

Hanna: *furiously battles Ember* How DARE you?! I'd give my life for Hairam!!! *starts freezing Ember* Let's finish this!!

Ember: I couldn't agree more! *the ice that was on her melts* I think you forgot about something... *blasts Hanna with a ball of fire* Why in the world did you befriend your own weakness?!

Ace: You...you're something else. Don't listen to people like this, Hanna! Just strike 'em down! Like this! *Sword becomes laser-like* Haaaa! *Hurls it at Ember and stabs her* *Ace jumps at Ember and pulls the sword out and up-slashes sending her several yards back*

Ember: AAAAAAGH!!!! *lands on the ground and gets up again*

Ace: How did someone as supposedly smart as you get stuck in Thorae? You simpleton!

Ember: Ugh... I already told you! That crazy Hairam locked me in some silly little mirror and I ended up here! Don't ask me why I can't get out by myself because I don't know! ...and don't insult me! *Sets Ace on fire*

Ace: GAH! *jumps into a river and quickly climbs out* I don't doubt this Hairam person wanted you out of her life.

Hanna: *Slashes Ember, knocking her down* Stop this nonsense!!! *holds sword to Ember's neck*

Ember: *Grins* You think that's going to stop me? *Suddenly vanishes*

Ace: Where did she go?

Hanna: *Looks around* I don't know... what happened? She was right here and then she...

*realization hits*AUGH! I don't believe this!! How could I be so brainless?!?! I completely forgot about Hairam's other power. I have flight, she has invisibility. She could be anywhere now! *sees some blood marks on the ground leading away from where Ember was last seen* Looks like she ran away... Are you all right, Ace?

Ace: I'm fine. Thanks. But we'll be late if we don't get to the entrance soon. Let her mess around. If she isn't bothering us then it's fine. She's stuck here. Let's go.

*They continue walking over the glaciers.*

Ace: Now, explain to me how you know this Hairam person, please?

Hanna: Right, sorry about that. I didn't mean to drag you into all that. Hairam is my best friend. We grew up together. She helped me through a lot of rough times. I couldn't have done very much without her. We're like sisters. Before I left to battle EDJ, I made her promise that she wouldn't come with me.... to protect her. *Sigh* Everything I do turns into a mess. Whenever I try to help, I just make things worse. Thanks for supporting me back there. Ember was right, I'm nothing without my friends... Do you think Hairam's okay?

Misty: I'm sure she is. Ember is an evil other so she was proly lying about Hairam not wanting you there... right?

DJ: I think she's ok...everything's been so crazy the last few days. What happened? Did Ember attack you guys while I stayed behind there?

Ace: Yes... she's strong, but she's not that strong...*closes eyes. speaks softly* I could have killed her... *looks to party* Were almost here. Just up this snow bank....

Naomi: You're LATE!!!

Ace: We were held up. Someone Hanna knew attacked us.

Naomi: You look pretty scratched up, Ace. I think Jester would have fought better.

Ace: ......I'm sorry...Lady Naomi.

Naomi: I was kidding...Well, anyway, the way we need to go is West. We are at the easternmost point of Thorae. The other entrance where Lui is trapped is on the western coast. Are you ready? We will be passing through Latum Forest...

DJ: Latum Forest? Sounds...different. What's it like?

*Meanwhile, back on Earth...*

EO: Haha! I've escaped this silly ice block! Hmm...what should I do now?

*Apparently talking to self* Hmm, I guess I should go find DJ and Hanna. Although I should probably get some sort of weapon first in case they attack me or something... Where am I going to get a weapon on this forsaken mountain?

Same annoying salesman from before: From me!!! Hello and welcome to the weapons emporium were weapons galore are to be sold here. Would you like this very big gun?

EO: Wow! How lucky is this??? I'm more of a sword person than a gun person... Do you have any gunblades?

Salesman: Nope, sorry, fresh out of gunblades. But I have swords, fire swords, mire swords, and even exclusive buyer swords! Please take a look at my highly refined wares. I also happen to sell a variety of lucky items.

EO: Fire swords sound pretty good, and I've heard they have good quality. What's a mire sword?

Salesman: It comes from the mires of a magic cave. It can control trees, grass and mud! Only $99.99. Cash only.

EO: Oh, well I don't really need that. How much is the fire sword?

Salesman: $49.53. But if you be a second one, you will get the second sword HALF OFF!!! Third is free. If you don't mind my asking, is there any reason in particular you need it? I may be able to help.

EO: Sure, I'll take three then. Just making sure I'm armed...going to see some people that I'm not sure trust me. You're willing to help?

Salesman: Here you go. Sure, by the way, are you looking for someone that looks like you? I saw someone who looks just like you but with a bunch of other people.

EO: You did? That's quite interesting...they must have met Jester already then. How many were with him?

Salesman: Um let’s see... ordinarily, I would charge you for this information. But since you bought more than anyone has, I'll tell you for free. There was a you-look-alike, a girl, another girl, except she looked scarier and even accused me of stealing from their group. So three, but they kept talking about how some other people were supposed to meet them.

EO: Hmm, thanks for the information! I'll have to keep that in mind. I think one of the other people they were going to meet is an old friend... Hey, can I get your number if I ever need to buy more equipment?

Salesman: I don't have one, but I do have a walkie-talkie. Here. Oh and by the way, I assume you will want to find them for revenge and all that, so go straight to the top, and take a left at the rock to get to an alternate dimension of some sort. That's how they got there.

EO: Thanks...I wasn't sure how to get there. I was just going to walk around until I found something. Do you know anything about 'haunted mirrors'?

Salesman: Nope.

EO: Ok, thanks for all the help...I'm going to go find that portal now.

Salesman: Good luck! *leaves*

EO: Thanks. Let's just hope they'll be friendly and I just spent 75 dollars for nothing...nice to have insurance though. Hmm, that portal's around here somewhere... Ah, is that it over there?

*A girl with fox ears and tail follows EDJ*

Fox girl: Are....are you? *points sword at EDJ* Who are you?

EO: That depends on who you ask... I don't think that sword will be necessary... Might I enquire as to who you are?

Fox girl: *lowers sword* I...I'm Hairam. I'm trying to find this person called EDJ. My best friend came looking for him and now she's... she's... *Slowly walks forward* Please, I need to find him. You... you don't know where he is....do you? Can you help me? Please?

EO: Sure, I think I can help you look for him. I'm looking for a friend of his as well... Why are you looking for him instead of your friend?

Hairam: *Clenches fist* She's... dead. I think he's responsible. Are you still going to help me?

EO: Sure...I never really got along with him anyway. Do you know where they are?

Hairam: No, I only know where...uh, someone else very evil is. Wait, what do you mean “they”? I though we were looking for EDJ.

EO: He and his friend, the one I'm looking for. I think they're together... Is that other very evil person where you think EDJ is?

Hairam: I think so, but I don't know. It doesn't seem possible. You never answered my question earlier, who are you?

EO: Ah yes, sorry about that. You may call me Zelgius. Will that suffice?

Hairam: I suppose so. I know how to get to where this evil person is. Do you want to try searching there?

EO: Sure, I'll accompany you. Where are we going?

Hairam: Umm... this is going to sound strange, but... You wouldn't happen to have a mirror with you, would you?

EO: A mirror? No, I don't believe so... Why do you ask?

Hairam: This evil person is trapped in a mirror. If we can find a good reflector, I think I can get us through. Wait I think I have a compact with me.... Found it, you ready?

EO: Umm, sure. Wait, is this the portal to the mystical other world, Thorae?

Misty: What do you think?

Unknown salesman: POPCORN!!! PEANUTS!!! CORN DOGS!!! Free complementary chips!!! *Pushes cart in front of group intentionally* Would you like to buy some cracker jacks?

Misty: Sure! *grabs some* *munch, munch* These are good. How do you make these?

Salesman: With extra salt. Would like a glass of lemonade with that? It will cost you 1.02$

Misty: I only have 99 cents. Can I give you an IOU for the other 3 cents?

Salesman: Oh too bad... how about that lady next to you? got any money? I take... uh... human money as well. Cash only.

Misty: Oh well then how about I give you my 99 cents and three Earth pennies? Would that work?

Salesman: Okay... do you want the straw with that?

Misty: Yup! Do you have bendy straws?

Salesman: Okay, have a nice day. *whispers* Hehehe, and she thought I was nice, to bad she had no money.

Misty: huh? I had money.

Salesman: No, you said you had no money.

Misty: I did? When?

Salesman: Word for word quote, "I only have 99 cents."

Misty: Oh well, yeah. I gave that and the Earth cents to you. I have more Earth cents though. Wow, I'm confused now. Haha

Salesman: How many of these "earth cents" do you have?

Misty: ummm... let me check. *counts*... 502. Why?

Salesman: Um... never mind. Oh no!!! My cover is blown!!! Well uh... see ya! *Quickly runs off with cart that for some reason seems to be slightly heavier*

Misty: ... That was odd.


Hanna: I think he just stole something from you. Anything missing?

Misty: *checks* just the 99 cents and three coins. Should I be worried?

DJ: Quite. What was that all about?!?!?!

Hanna: I have no clue. This random guy just jumped in front of us and demanded we buy something. Odd, don't you think so?

DJ: Sad, because I missed it... The map in the lobby says that Big Boss' office is on the 4th floor. You want to go see him now?

Hanna: I suppose so. Elevator or stairs?

DJ: Stairs, I guess. I like them better... Have you ever gotten sick in an elevator?

Hanna: Felt like being sick, yes. Actually gotten sick, no. Where are the stairs?

DJ: "Down the hall, first sliding door on the right" At least, that's what the talking sign said... Any sign of Ace and Jester recently?

Hanna: None whatsoever. For someone who's always watching us, you would think they would know when we need help or something......what do you think?

DJ: Hmm....you're giving me an idea. Perhaps if we pretend to be in danger, they'll come to 'rescue' us?

Hanna: Heh, that would be funny. You don't think it would work, do you?

DJ: It would be pretty funny if it did. Want me to push someone down the waterfall to find out?

Hanna: Nah, there's no need to cause unnecessary strife. How many flights of stairs did you say?

DJ: 4th floor, I think. Or was it higher?

Hanna: I'm pretty sure you said 4th. Shall we ascend?

DJ: I'm ready. *Starts climbing stairs* What do you think is in store for us?

Hanna: Some assistance, hopefully. How long do you think Lui can survive in the portal/mirror?

Misty: *following* Proly a long time. What do you think DJ?

DJ: I don't know. He admitted that he was in pain... Do you think that Big Boss will actually help us?

Misty: hmmm... I don't know. I guess we just have to go see him. *breathes out* How come we didn't take the elevator?

DJ: Because I got terribly sick on an elevator the last time I used one. You wouldn't want to see that again, would you?

Hanna: I'm sure I can go without seeing that pudding steak stuff a second time. How much farther?

DJ: I think we're just getting past the second level now, but they are pretty big because of the waterfall. Is the building actually taller than four stories?

Misty: I think so. I think the last floor is for the janitors. We really like our janitors here. In fact it's one of the best jobs you can have. Is it like that on Earth?

DJ: Umm, I think that janitor is probably one of the least-respected jobs on Earth. What's the least-respected job here?

Misty: hmmm... I don't know. There really isn't one because all jobs are important. Like without janitors these halls would be really gross. And without cooks we would starve, and that would NOT be good! So maybe a desk job. It's not like it's not useful, it's just really, really boring. Does that make sense?

DJ: Makes sense to me, in a strange sort of way.

Misty: Yeah it's kinda weird.

DJ: What kind of job do you have here?

Misty: Me? I'm well... a helper. I go back and forth between places helping people. Like when I helped you, Hanna, and Lui. What do you do on Earth?

Hanna: For the time being? I alternate between hero and commonplace waitress. Not sure about DJ though. How high on the job list is a waitress in this world?

Misty: It's up there. Every restaurant has at least one. They will hire whenever someone wants to be one. Why do you ask?

Hanna: Simply wondering, that's all. I don't think my job pays enough.... Anyway, how well do you know Big Boss?

Misty: Not very well at all actually. He came while I was helping someone else. What do you think he's like?

Hanna: I've never met the guy! How in the world should I know?!

Misty: I don't know. Just trying to make conversation. These stairs are taking forever! Are we there yet?

Hanna: *Sigh* Sorry about that. I realize you're trying to help. As for the stairs, I don't think so. What do you do in your spare time?

Misty: Wait! I think I... yes! I see a door! Wait... rats. It's the third floor. Oh well. hmmm... I like to read. What about you?

Hanna: Me? Read and take long solitary walks. I also find enjoyment in playing the piano. How many stairs have we climbed?

Misty: Since the third floor, I'd say about 7. How many more do you think there are?

Hanna: Plenty. Why do you think the Big Boss finds our adventures so interesting?

Misty: I don't know. Maybe he finds it as one big story. Who knows! I wonder what happened to Ace and Jester. Do you know?

Hanna: Nope. As if anyone could find our adventures interesting. Do you think that's even possible?

Misty: I don't see why people would think that at all. But I get the weird feeling that someone or more then one someones are watching my every move. Do you ever get that way?

Hanna: On rare occasions, yes. Even more so since I heard about all the people here that were watching us. Do you think they're recording our every move?!

Misty: *gasp!* I sure hope not. That would be weird. Don't you think?

Hanna: Yes, very much so. The thought of strangers recording your every move so that people of all generations all over the world would know about you is quite a frightening thought! Is it not?

Misty: Yes, that is pretty freaky. But it probably will not happen to us... ..right?

Hanna: Of course not! There is no logical way that could be possible. It's as illogical as believing in aliens! Wait, scratch that, I know about 3 aliens....

Misty: Really? Three huh? That's... interesting.

Hanna: Yes, I personally know 3 aliens. Do you have a problem with that?

Misty: No, I just found it interesting that's all.

Hanna: Anyway, how many more stairs left?

Misty: I would guess 4....3....2....1. There! Is this it?

Hanna: I'm not sure...

Misty: I guess we should try it anyway. *walks up to door* Oh brother. It's locked. What should we do now?

Hanna: I could break it open, but I don't think that would be very nice considering our current location. What do you think we should do?

Misty: hmmm... Wait. Maybe my card key would work. Do you see a slot for one?

Hanna: *Points* that looks somewhat like one. Is it working?

Misty: *tries it* Yup! It works. Ready?

Hanna: I guess we should go over and check it out, huh?

DJ: I guess so...hopefully there'll be something there worth eating. Do you think we'll have to pay for it?

Hanna: Oops, I forgot about that.... We can say that we're guests, can't we? Does that count for a free meal?

DJ: I think so...if not I can go ask for some meal vouchers at the front desk. *Walks up to the beginning of the line* Excuse me, how much does it cost to get a meal?

Random person in line: Depends upon what you want.

Hanna: ...That was somewhat a given. Do you think we should ask someone else?

DJ: Sure... You want to try?

Hanna; Umm.... no thanks, you're doing just fine! Really! Do you want to try asking that person over there?

DJ: I was going to offer her some of my things from our world in trade... *to 2nd random person* I have some things here from where we're from...would you like to have anything as a gift?

DJ: Well, I have some of our currency, and I have several things in my bag. *Opens bag and pulls out random contents* Let me know if there's anything you like, ok?

2nd RP: Ooooooh, can I have the cool spinny thing? The round one with the letters and the little thing in the middle that's spinning around.

Hanna: ....the compass?

2nd RP: Is that what it's called? Cool name! Can I have it?

DJ: Sure, I'd be happy to give that to you! Anything else you like?

2nd RP: No thanks. After I'm finished eating, I think I will try to follow the spinning line thing!

Hanna: ...don't get lost. You ready order something, DJ?

DJ: Yup, I'm about ready. You see anything that looks good on the menu?

DJ: Ok. *Gets into line and gets attention of server* Excuse me, I'll have the vanilla pudding and steak, please. What should we do after dinner?

Hanna: Pfft, beats me. Maybe Ace and Jester would have shown up by then, though that seems highly unlikely. Ah, I think I found something. I'll have the vanilla ice cream with fries, please. Where should we sit?

DJ: Ooh, good choice! *points to open table near the door* How about that one?

Hanna: Fine by me. You like vanilla ice cream with fries?

DJ: It sounds better than most of the other choices...so I guess it would be a good choice by default. Have you seen Misty's other lately?

Hanna: No. Wait, her evil other or her other other?

DJ: The one we spoke to on Mt. Everest... She said she was an other too, right?

Hanna: Umm, I don't think she ever mentioned specifically if she was an other or not. Didn't she only have an evil other?

DJ: I'm not sure...she never said if she had a second other or not. If she's an other and she only has one other, that would make her evil Misty, wouldn't it?

Hanna: I'm afraid so. Would it be possible that Misty herself, not her evil other, is actually in alliance with the Big Boss?

DJ: That's true...I think her evil other was captured anyway, so unless she has a second other, it must be the real Misty. Anybody else look familiar here?

Hanna: *looks around* Nope. No wait, that girl over there seems somewhat fami-.... Nah, it can't be.... Can it?

DJ: *looks over* Who? I don't see anyone...wait, can it be?!?

Hanna: No, It can't be her. She said that she had her locked up… So, it can't possibly be her... DJ?

DJ: Perhaps she escaped. You want to go see if it is her?

Hanna: It can't be her! Wait, who are you talking about?

DJ: The same person you're talking about... Who are you talking about?

Hanna: You are not talking about the same person I am talking about! Besides, you've only met what? Once? Twice at the most?

DJ: I'm confused... So then, who are you talking about??

DJ: Ah, I do believe so. Yes, she does look somewhat familiar now... How long has it been since you last saw her?

Hanna: When I first rescued you and Lui. I asked her to stay in the same place you were so that all of you would be safe. I guess that didn't work out too well, did it?

DJ: Apparently not... How did she get here?!?

Hanna: I don't know! She seems....somewhat....different. Can you tell?

DJ: Not really...I don't think I knew her enough to be able to tell the difference yet. Is it a very noticeable difference, or a more subtle one?

Hanna: Hmm... It's too subtle to place. She just seems.... different.... Do you think we should go talk to her?

DJ: Ah, I see. Sure, if you would like to... *walks over* Hairam?

Hairam: *looks up and smiles* Yes?

DJ: Umm, it's me, DJ. Do you remember me?

Hairam: *Looks behind DJ and sees Hanna still sitting at the other table* Yeah! What are you guys doing here?

DJ: We're here trying to rescue, Lui. He's trapped in a mirror...long story. What are you doing here?

Hairam: I...um...came to help save Lui! What are you doing at Big Boss' if Lui is stuck in a mirror?

DJ: Umm, he wants to meet us, apparently. How did you know about Lui?

Hairam: Hanna contacted me before you guys went through the portal. She tells her friends everything. Didn't she tell you that she contacted me?

DJ: She didn't mention that. But that's ok... Do you know Big Boss?

Hairam: Yes.

*Hanna gets up and starts walking over*

Hairam: Uh... I have to go see... Ace and Mace... and you two have to go see the Big Boss. I'll see you both later, okay?

Misty: umm... Hi! Sorry about that. I forgot I told some friends I'd go camping with them last weekend. hehe. Sorry. I see you found the cafeteria. Is the food good?

Hanna: As far as I can tell. How do you guys keep disappearing?!

Misty: To tell you the truth. I'm not sure. Maybe we just leave without you noticing. Is that a possibility?

Hanna: It would be possible if it was only once or twice. You disappear too often. Since you're here anyway, do you want something to eat?

Misty: Ok I'll go get something. Any idea what they have?

Hanna: Stuff I'm not used to eating....except for the ice cream and fries.

Misty: ah I see. I guess I'll go get that.

Hanna: Misty, how many others do you have?

Misty: hmmm.. 2 besides me. I have the real Misty, Evil Other Misty and me. Other world Misty. Yeah I know. Kinda weird. What about you?

Hanna: For the time being... myself, Kandi, and Savannah. How are you different from the real Misty?

Misty: ... I live here. She lives on Earth. *Laughs* I know. Kinda weird. Hey, I'm going to go get some food, ok?

Hanna: All right. I wonder... how many others one person have?

DJ: Well, Ace said the most a person could have is two. (That's the most I've seen so far) Do you think he was truthful about that?

Hanna: Who knows. I think he was somewhat confused about a few things... DJ, was that really Hairam?

DJ: I'm not sure, unfortunately... Do you doubt that she was real?

Hanna: It was hard to really tell. She really looked like her, but when I approached she left. What did you find out?

DJ: She said she had to go talk to Ace and Mace... Who's Mace?

Hanna: Maybe she forgot Jester's name. Everyone seems to be doing that. I almost feel sorry for him... Did you find out anything else before she left?

DJ: Nothing important that I can remember... You want to go see Big Boss now?

Hanna: I guess so. If we can actually find him. You were talking to a stranger for 5 minutes and you don't remember anything important? What did you do, talk about the weather?!

DJ: ... We are still talking about Hairam, right?

Hanna: If she confirmed herself as being Hairam, yes. You went to go find that out, remember?

DJ: Oh yeah, that's true. She did answer to Hairam...and she said something about you contacting her before we came here. Is that true?

Hanna: Eh, contacting her? I didn't contact anyone since before the EDJ incident! For all I know, Hairam is still at the base! Or at least she should be. She wouldn't have even known about the other world, much less our arrival. How could I have possibly contacted her?

DJ: I don't know... So you didn't tell her about Lui, or us going here?

Hanna: No, I did not. I'm not lying, DJ. You... you don't believe me, do you?

DJ: ...Of course I believe you! So, assuming that this Hairam was fake, what should we do?

Hanna: We could try to find her and confront her. I would think that it would be difficult to find her in a place like this though. We will deal with that imposter later. I think we should go see that Big Boss guy first. Shall we?

DJ: Sure. How are we going to find him?

Hanna: I have no idea... There should really be a guide or something. What kind of ride do you think Jester was talking about?

DJ: Maybe a rollercoaster!!!!! Probably not though... Should I ask that receptionist?

Hanna: I don't think so. She looks a little preoccupied at the moment. Do you think we should go look for Ace and Jester?

DJ: I don't know, we could get lost...but it may be the best way to find Big Boss. What do you think?

Hanna: We should at least give it a try. We don't exactly have anything better to do, now do we?

DJ: I guess not... Inside or outside?

Hanna: Inside I guess. Though we may become utterly lost in the process. Or would you prefer outside?

DJ: Inside is fine with me, it's warmer in here (even if only slightly.) Want to go that way? *points behind waterfall*

Hanna: I suppose we can try over there. Do you think we will be able to find them at all?

Misty: *silently following* hmm... I don't know. They seem to leave a lot. Maybe we could try to look behind the waterfall. Ready?

Hanna: Sure. *Calls out* Hellooooooo, anybody in here?

Misty: *listens* I don't hear anyone. Do you?

Hanna: Nope. Next section?

Misty: Next section? What do you mean?

Hanna: I don't know. Any section we haven't been to.

Misty: Ok lets go... *points* that way I guess.

Hanna: Misty, do I seem.... somewhat more... at ease now than I was before entering the portal? I'm not sure if it's noticeable or not, but the idea been bothering me.

Misty: Yeah kinda. Kinda like you're not as suspicious of people. But it doesn't show too much. Why has it been bothering you?

Hanna: Possibly because it makes me feel like I am.... letting my guard down. Vulnerable, I suppose. It's probably nothing. So, they've remodeled since you were here last?

Misty: Yup. The last time I was here the cafeteria wasn't here. You had to go down to the Taco King down the street. And believe me, they serve the worst food. Also the lobby was much smaller. Do you like it here?

DJ: It's very...different here. It's different, but yet it seems similar to home, in a strange way. Do you like it here?

Misty: Who me? yeah I guess. But I kinda prefer Earth. The colors are much better there. What do you think?

Hanna: Where do you think they keep running off to? Or rather, disappearing off to, I should say.

Jester: Alright, we’re here.

Ace: It took us a bit longer ‘cause we went the scenic route. Oh and I take it you met Misty? She is from the Other World, I'll admit.

Misty: Yes they met me. And what do you mean? I'm from here. Not Earth. Oh and DJ, I'm telling the truth now.

Hanna: Yeah, like we're just going to up and believe you all of a sudden. Let's just get to this boss dude, okay?

DJ: Sounds good to me... Are we ready to go?


Hanna: I'm ready, but I have no idea which direction we're headed. Do you?

DJ: No...I wish I did though...or they could at least let us explore a bit. Should we ask for a map next time we see them?

Hanna: I think that would be wise. Do you want to explore or just stand here and do nothing?

DJ: I suppose we could explore a bit... How good are you with directions?

Hanna: Fairly good, I think. I could navigate through the Tube after just 2 days in London. Does that count?

DJ: Sounds good enough to me. Which way should we go?

Hanna: Let's try to find that frozen beach that those other two were talking about. Which direction do you think that's in?

DJ: Let's see...the breeze is blowing from left to right, so let's go...that way! *points to the left* Doesn't the sea breeze come from the water toward the land?

Hanna: I'm not sure. That must have been in a science lesson I wasn't paying attention to. If we get lost, we can always come back the way we came, right?

DJ: I would think so... *starts walking to the left* Can you see it yet?

Hanna: Not yet. Do you feel any different upon entering this world?

DJ: Warmer...and somewhat more alert. How about you?

Hanna: Like you said earlier, somewhat lighter I guess. Though I'm not quite sure why. What do you think?

DJ: Perhaps the different atmospheric gases created some sort of change in our mental and physical state... Any other possible ideas?

Hanna: Perhaps that wild trip through the portal caused it. Let's just not let the difference cloud our better judgment. Does that look like a frozen beach to you?

DJ: *Stops, stands on tiptoes, and points excitedly toward frozen beach* I see it! YAY!
But yes, we must not let our judgment be clouded... Have you ever seen anything like it back home?

Hanna: No, but it's beautiful!! I wish Lui could see this... Do you think he's okay?

DJ: I sure hope so... Do you think it hurt him when they used the mirror to gain entry to the portal?

Ace: I don't think it hurt him at all. You see that rock over there?

DJ: Ah, you found us. Yes, I see it. Why do you ask?

Ace: Because HQ entrance is in a cave right behind it.

Jester: There is a shortcut around that glacier. I noticed you have gained a certain alertness?

DJ: Quite so...thank you for noticing! Are we going to take the short cut then?

Ace: Yeah, we'll use the shortcut. It's safer than the standard pass.

Jester: Yeah, bandits. Do you have to worry about bandits on Earth?

Hanna: In certain locations, yes. What did you do with EDJ?

Jester: Since DJ wasn't too sure he wanted to take EDJ with him, I left him at the entrance to the Other World, on the Earth side, of course. So he won’t melt but won't freeze anymore and no one can find him. Clever, no?

Hanna: For now, I suppose so. What's this Big Boss guy like?

Jester: For some reason I feel like Big Boss won't be quite what you expect. Boss is... somewhat....let's just say... confident.

Hanna: Are you sure he'll help us?

Ace: Yeah, I don't know about that. Big Boss just want s meet you.

Jester: We're the ones helping you, remember?

Hanna: Riiiiiight... Hey, uh, listen, um... I'm sorry about my attitude earlier. It's just that I don't want anything else bad to happen to my friends. I apologize for being so cold and abrupt toward you two. No hard feelings?

Ace: *Politely* No problem.

Jester: None whatsoever. But the rest of the trip won't be peaches and cream. You know that, right?

Hanna: Yes, I know. How much farther?

Jester: We should be here around this next ridge....

Ace: Here we are. Right in front of you is the rock we saw earlier, and behind you is the cave. Let's go inside, shall we? *They enter*

Jester: Nice lobby, huh? I think the waterfalls are a nice touch.

Hanna: Whoah, most impressive! They're just going to let us walk right in?

Ace: Yes, you are welcome here.

Jester: Alright, you ready to go on a ride? Hanna: ...Ride... What kind of ride? DJ: A ride? Sounds like fun! What kind of ride is it? Is it an elevator? Misty: I'm not sure. They remodeled since I was here last. Right Ace? DJ: He seems to be missing... You want to explore this HQ building without him? Hanna: Very well. Would you like to go back to the waterfall? DJ: Sounds good to me! I'm guessing you would like it better frozen? Hanna: Frozen waterfalls are nice. Though I think it would be better not to touch anything that doesn't belong to us here... Wouldn't want to infuriate the Big Boss now, would we?

DJ: True, I had forgotten about him... Do you see any surveillance cameras around here?

Hanna: They are probably hidden. How hard do you think it will be to get Lui out?

DJ: Harder than getting a camel through a needle, but not as hard as a diamond. Did that sound really cliched?

Hanna: Yes, but it made me smile. *Sigh* Do you think Lui knows that this side of me didn't mean all those terrible things I said to him when you were battling EDJ?

DJ: I'm sure that he knows that. Did you sense any resentment or mistrust in him between now and then?

Hanna: No. He seemed like he... still trusted me. That's what kills me. How could he still trust me after all this?!?

DJ: I think that was one of his special abilities as an other. He has a tremendous capability to trust people, and he can tell who is deserving of his trust as well. *looks up at very large waterfall* My, this is amazing, isn't it?

Hanna: *Not really looking* Beautiful...

DJ: Perhaps you have the inability to fully trust yourself/others. Would that be a potential reason?

Hanna: Perhaps that is the sole reason. Is this a great weakness on my part?

DJ: Not a great weakness, but yet one that you could improve on (in certain situations, anyway.) I also see it as a potential strength...do you?

Hanna: Not entirely. Could you expound on that?

DJ: Well, when someone is trying to take advantage of you, your lack of ability to trust could be an advantage. Did I explain that somewhat-near well enough?

Hanna: Near well enough for me to understand what you mean, if that's what you meant. How long do you think it will be before Ace and Jester show up again?

DJ: No idea... Do you think they got lost somehow?

Hanna: No, they should be familiar with everything here. Do you think we will meet any other strange people who will want to "help" us?

DJ: I don't know how many new people I can remember...this has been a very strange few days. Should we start looking for Big Boss on our own?

Hanna: It is not yet confirmed that he will even help us at all. All he wants to do is meet us, right?

DJ: That's what Ace and Jester said, I think. Do you think that's actually all he wants?

Hanna: I highly doubt it. Let us hope for the best and prepare for the worst then, shall we?

DJ: Sounds like a good plan to me. How big is this building anyway?

Hanna: I would assume that it is very large with multiple entrances, including hidden ones. Why do you think he's called 'Big Boss' anyway?

DJ: Because he's morbidly obese perhaps? Or perhaps because it's his reputation that was given the title 'big'. What do you think?

Hanna: Considering the circumstances, I would rather not think of either at the moment... Where is everybody?! This place should be swarming with people or guards or something!

DJ: Perhaps they're invisible; like Ace and Jester seem to be able to do... Or do they really not have any?

Hanna: Unless he is as powerful as they say he is, it would be unwise for him not to have them. What do you want to do while we wait?

DJ: Hmm, we could ask somebody if there's anywhere good to eat around here...I'm getting hungry! How about you?

Hanna: Ugh, I was doing just fine until you reminded me. Do you think the food here would be very different from the food we have at home?

DJ: I'm not sure... You want to ask somebody and see what's at the place they recommend?

Hanna: Errr.... I guess so... Hmm... who should we ask?

DJ: *points to receptionist at front entrance* How about her?

DJ: Umm, sure I guess. *Walks over to receptionist* Excuse me, but could you recommend somewhere nearby to eat?

DJ: I don't know... Ma'am?

DJ: Perhaps you can help me... Do you know of any good places to eat nearby?

DJ: That would be nice, yes. What kind of food is served in this area?

Receptionist: Well for breakfast foods you can have the taco omelet, peanut-butter/mayonnaise sandwich, and a chicken/banana/mayonnaise salad. Or did you want something more for lunch or dinner?

DJ: Umm, I think we'll skip breakfast... How about for desert?

Receptionist: Pizza with whipped cream, vanilla pudding with steak , and apple pie with mustard.

Hanna: ...... you actually eat that?!?

Receptionist: Yes, don't you?

DJ: The vanilla pudding with steak sounds pretty good, actually. Where can we get that?

Receptionist: Down the hall, turn left. Is that good enough?

DJ: Wow, in this building! That's great, thanks for the help! *walks away from the desk* Did you expect to travel far to eat?

Hanna: *Somewhat surprised at the whole episode* Umm... kind of.
Weird... Anyway... You're really going for that vanilla steak stuff?

DJ: Sure, it sounds better than any of the other choices... You don't like the idea?

Hanna: ...Whatever. It's your choice. So, she said to the left?

DJ: I think so... Perhaps there'll be something on the lunch or dinner menus that you'll like?

Hanna: Eh, after the previous choices, I doubt it. You're that hungry?

DJ: Apparently...my stomach is growling louder than Bowser ever could! How hungry is that?!?

Hanna: Whoa, let's get you some food! How in the world were you able to survive this long without food?

DJ: I'm not sure, to be honest. Am I correct in assuming that Others don't eat as much as originals do?

Hanna: Quite correct, but it doesn't mean that we don't get hungry. *Points forward* Does that look like it?

DJ: *looks toward where Hanna is pointing* Yeah, that looks like it... Ready to get something?

DJ: Sure... *Opens door and walks into what appears to be a cafeteria* *points to far wall of room* Is that the line?

Hanna: Looks like it.... I guess we should go over and check it out, huh?

DJ: Please be careful with him, ok?

Jester: Hmmm, yes. We used all our transportation power getting here. He's our only way back. Stand back. Everyone be forewarned: when we're passing through the portal, we will see Lui. He will be behind a wall and we cannot get through it from this side that is why we must go through the portal from the other world. By the way, be prepared from some shock, hehehe.

*Raises mirror and a beam of blue-ish white light is emitted from the mirror. A swirling vortex is revealed.*

Ace and Jester: ........*blank look on their faces as if it was nothing* Here we go! *all enter the portal*

Ace: Were inside the portal. Everyone okay?

DJ: *falls to one knee* Phew, that was tough! Hanna?

Hanna: I...I think ... I'm ok... *gets up off ground* I think I had a worse landing though... Do you guys do this every day or something?!?!

Jester: No. We'd have to be the Big Boss to have that much energy.

Ace: Did anyone see Lui while coming through the portal? Because I didn't, which is strange.

DJ: I caught a brief glimpse of him before I passed out. How long was I lying there?

Ace: Not long.

Jester: We'd best head to HQ, bro. Report to the Big Boss and all that good stuff.

Ace: Oh yeah. You guys want to meet Big Boss?

Hanna: Umm...I guess so. Will that help us get Lui out?

DJ: I would assume so, potentially. How far is it?

Ace: He said he wanted to meet you. Your adventures interested him. You mind if we stop there first?

DJ: That's fine, I suppose. Is it far out of the way?

Hanna: Who knows… Exactly how many people have been spying on us?!

Jester: Everyone in HQ after the boss realized you were in need of help. Does that bother you?

DJ: It's somewhat creepy to think about it... How long has it been then?

Ace: Since... EDJ convinced Hanna of her dark side. Does that sound like more than a coincidence?

Hanna: What?!! And you didn't do anything to help me then?!?!

DJ: Yeah, that seems somewhat strange... Why didn't you do something?

Ace: We were seeing what was to become of you. If you stayed evil we were to come and turn you good. You turned good again and it was called off until it was chance that the Big Boss saw Lui was trapped. If not for Big Boss, Lui would be gone forever. We're not far from HQ. It's just up this hill.

Jester: You ever think about that?

DJ: What, it being just up the hill or Lui being gone forever? Yes, I did think some about Lui being gone, but I knew that we wouldn't let it be that way. Right?

Hanna: Right. If that's what he was talking about then yes, I think about it all the time these days. He was probably amused with our predicament. Wouldn't you agree, DJ?

DJ: That depends on who you're talking about... Jester? Or Big Boss? Or both?

Hanna: Probably both. Do you think it annoys him when I call him Joker?

DJ: More than we could possibly know, I'm sure. Why do you think he's called Jester?

Hanna: Because he's a joke! Hahaha!!! Whoa! I think that portal trip messed me up a little... Now I'm worried.... Have I changed at all to you?

DJ: Perhaps it somehow reversed your attitudes slightly...you seem somewhat lighter now. Does it feel that way to you too?

Hanna: I'm not sure. I just noticed a difference. What do you mean lighter?

DJ: You seem less worried about things now, as if your powers have strengthened or your confidence has increased... Does that make sense?

Hanna: Maybe that nap on Everest helped. Remember, I hadn't had very much rest before that. I am still really worried about Lui though. Do you think we can help him?

DJ: I certainly hope so...although it would be easier if we had guides that didn't disappear every so often. Do you think this is a trap?

Hanna: We have no choice but to trust them, do we?

DJ: I suppose not...Jester could easily up and leave if we offend him. What do you think Big Boss is like?

DJ: I would think that it's more us not trusting him that offends him than making fun of him...but at the same time he should know that our trust would be quite hard to earn at this time. What do you think of the other world so far?

Hanna: It's... different. I wasn't sure what to expect. You do realize that we should give them credit for not killing us while we were asleep, right?

DJ: That's true...at least we can conclude that they aren't interested in just killing us. Why are they so willing to help?

Hanna: That's the part that worries me... Where did they go?

DJ: It's almost like they have the power to vanish into thin air...almost like Lui did when we defeated EO... Wait, do they have EO or do we? I don't see him...

Hanna: Augh! If they defrost him, I'm just going to freeze him again! Do you think Lui's all right?

DJ: I don't know...Lui? What happened to the mirror? I haven't seen it since they used it to gain access to this alternate world...

Hanna: I hope he's okay. I promised him that I would get him out. No matter what, I have to get him out. Are you sure EDJ's not that dangerous?

DJ: In our world, he's little more than a Wormtongue. In this world, I have no idea what sort of powers he could possess. Do you think his powers could be different here?

Hanna: I hope not. Ah, but you remember, even Grima was dangerous. Let's take the optimistic view on this, shall we?

DJ: Let's see: EO is still encased in ice, forgotten at the entrance to this world; Lui's mirror is safely kept with Ace and Jester; Big Boss will be extremely helpful and cooperative with our mission; and finally, we don't have any problems setting Lui free. Sound about right?

Hanna: Sounds good to me. Do you think any of that could be realistically possible?

DJ: Well, all of them seem at least somewhat likely... Are you more worried about EO or Lui at the moment?

Hanna: Lui. What would happen if all the EO's were to disappear?

DJ: I would have to guess that at least 20% of the ranks of the evil would disappear, although that would also eliminate several good people I know that have reformed, to an extent, anyway. Would the world be a better place? Would they just go somewhere else?

Hanna: Maybe just go somewhere else. There's something I've been meaning to tell you... Will you believe me though?

DJ: Of course, I believe you. What is it you want to tell me?

Hanna: Technically, I… I am Savannah's evil other ... or at least the closest thing to one...I just...refuse to let that evil take over... Do… do you believe me?

DJ: Would I have any reason to not believe you? I don't have any problem with that, you do a good enough job keeping that evil under control... *gasps* Does that mean that you would be deleted too if we rescue Lui?

Hanna: I...I don't know. Even if I am, I will either get Lui out or die trying. I promised him...I won't let him down. You really have no problem with me, even if I am an evil other?

DJ: Not at all. You've almost mastered the art of controlling your evil side, however big or small it may be. Should we ask Ace to give us more details about the EO's disappearing?

Hanna: If he ever shows up. Thank you DJ. I don't think I could have made it without you and Lui. Are we almost there yet?

Ace: Sorry bout that. We had to let the Big Boss know you were coming.

Jester: Can't just barge in like that. Any way, the skies are blue, the snow is fresh, and the beach is frozen with no sign of Global Warming. So what do you think of the place?

Hanna: I find it to be quite invigorating! Under any other circumstance I would have stopped to enjoy the scenery to its fullest. It’s probably pretty cold for DJ though. So, what's with this boss guy?

DJ: My thoughts exactly... Actually, it is very nice here! It's warmer than Everest, anyway... Do you have spies on people all around the world?

Misty: *walks up* Actually I am one of the spies. I was sent to help you three because I saw you were freezing and that was not good. So I asked the Boss for a transportation device. That's how I got back here without the portal. Sorry about that... that I had to tell you stuff that wasn't quite true. They told me I couldn't tell you who I was err.. am. You're not mad are you? I was just trying to help.

Hanna: *Sigh* Disappointed, yes. Mad, no. It's not the first time someone lied to me... Where's EDJ?

Misty: I'm sorry. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you let me know. ok? EDJ? I don't know. Did the others take them? Ace and... what's his name? Joker? I'll just call him that anyway. Haha

Hanna: To make it up? Not really. I think they did take him. Where seems to remain a mystery. So, you're actually on our side?

Misty: Of course! How's Lui doing? Speaking of which where is he?

Hanna: I'm not quite sure. All I know is that we have to get him out of that portal... You've never met Ace and what's-his-name before?

Misty: I have. But I'm not around much so I don't see newer people as often. But you don't have to be worried that they did something to EDJ. What's-his-face isn't smart enough to do something evil. He's too worried about some girl or something. Do you think we should go find them?

Hanna: No. We'll end up getting ourselves lost. Where's Abby?

Misty: I don't know. I've never really met her before. I think she's from Earth. What do you think?

Hanna: I think you are either very confused or very confusing.

Misty: You're right. Maybe both.

Hanna: What's this deal with EOs? Do they survive?

Misty: I think so. I mean I don't see why they wouldn't. Why do you ask?

Hanna: ...no reason... What would happen to DJ and Lui if what Ace and Jester said about EOs is true?

Misty: What? What did they say?

Hanna: Something along the lines of "When the world is the way it should be, your evil side will be washed away." Does that make any sense to you?

Misty: Not really. I don't think that the EO's will vanish though. Because the world will always have evil in it. Until the end anyway. Does that make sense?

Hanna: I'm not entirely sure what's supposed to make sense now. Why did you wait until we were outside of EDJ's castle to help us?

Misty: Well for one thing I needed to see whether you were evil or not. Another thing is that I was helping someone else, so I couldn't until you guys were out. But I'll help you now ok?

Hanna: Whatever. DJ, what do you think? *Looks around* Just great! Where did he go?! Did those two take him?

DJ: *climbs out of hole in ground* I'm here, I just fell down into this pit and got stuck... What's been happening?

Misty: We are trying to figure out what happened to EDJ and Lui.

Hanna: *Helps DJ out* Warn someone before you disappear!! This whole disappearing business has me worried!!! Try not to do that again, ok?

DJ: Sure...I didn't do it on purpose or anything. Ace and Jester are gone again, right?

Misty: Yup. Any idea where they went?

DJ: No idea whatsoever...they just seem to disappear at random. How about you? You're from here, aren't you?

Hanna: Did she...just leave?

DJ: Hmm...if so, these people from the other world have a strange ability to just disappear right into thin air! It's strange, isn't it?

Hanna: It's kinda freaking me out a little... It certainly keeps my guard up. Should we trust her now that she admitted to lying to us?

DJ: Hmm...by lying to us then she would be telling the truth to us now? Or by lying to us now would that mean that she was telling the truth then? Either one make sense?

Hanna: No. Where do you think they keep running off to? Or rather, disappearing off to, I should say.

Jester: Yo! The "crazy people" are back!

Ace: ... Hanna....Let me ask you this.... Can I trust YOU?

EO: Ha! You think my friend Hanna here would actually believe your scheme for a second?!?!?!? That proves you must be crazy! Unfortunately, she can't hear you right now...she's asleep. Want to talk to me instead?

Jester: No! Shut your trap, you insignificant little...! Your forgetting who it is that has the power to scorch you in 2 seconds including thaw time.

Ace: She needs the rest...and so does, DJ. Why don't you get some rest before we enter?

EO: Yeah, DJ's sleeping too right now. Lucky him...he's not the one encased in ice. You want to let me out of this ice cube so we can have a real fight, Lester?

Jester: I'd love to. Too bad I have a duty and that does not include killing you. So shut it before I have to do it anyway.

Ace: The power of persuasion? Sounds...

Jester: ... Lame?

Ace: ....er...yes. And I've seen the way you fight. Nothing wrong there except you use mortal swords, don't you?

EO: HEY! I'll have you know that persuasion works extremely well! I had Hanna within a hair's-breadth of becoming an Evil Other just like me. Mortal swords don't work against you, I'm assuming?

Hanna: *Groggily wakes up* Ugh.... what happened? The last thing I remember before I fell asleep was EDJ's incessant and arrogant chatter... I must have been exhausted. *looks around* DJ?

Jester: He fell asleep too. EDJ must have some kind of power to put people to sleep. You wanna put some more layers over his mouth so he'll stay quiet?

Hanna: Nah, I'd have to be a little more awake to concentrate my powers properly. *realizes something* I let my guard down...and you didn't do anything?

Jester: I was MORE than tempted to kill this idiot over here, but I made sure it didn't happen.

Ace: Why would we do anything? You’re no good to us dead. Not to mention...

EO: Ha! You don't have the guts to kill a defenseless person, that's all. Give me one of your swords and we'll have a real fight! Or will you be wimpy and just freeze my mouth shut again?

Hanna: Don't push it, EDJ. Ace, not to mention...what?

Ace: I said you are no good to us dead.

Jester: We can't give you one of our swords because the power would just burn your hand off. Still want one?

Hanna: Wow. For once in his puny life, EDJ actually stopped talking. I wonder how long that will last... So, how will we get to this Other world?

Ace: It's right here, *gestures to cliff* yet you probably can't see it. Can you?

Hanna: No... Should I be able to see it?

Ace: No, I was just wondering... Is everything ready to go?

Hanna: You make no sense to me... Should we wake DJ?

DJ: *Jolts up* I'm awake now! Huh? How long did I sleep?

Hanna: Hopefully long enough for you to regain your energy. Are you okay now?

DJ: Quite ok, thanks. Although I am still somewhat cold. Hopefully it'll be a little warmer there. Are Jester and Ace here?

Hanna: I'm not sure. I fell asleep earlier...I'm sorry, I put us both in danger....again. How are we ever going to save Lui with my constant mistakes?!

DJ: I fell asleep too, I was only planning on resting for a while...don't worry about it. They'll be here eventually. Did EO bother you?

Hanna: Not really. Surprisingly, he was actually helping! Though he still has a big mouth. Do you think it's possible that he was trying to tear me down again?

DJ: I wouldn't put anything past him...he's a tricky one. How was he helping you?

Hanna: He was telling me how pathetic my evil side is. I would have liked to agree with him, but I still think she's pretty powerful... What do you think?

DJ: The power to wreak destruction on objects around you, certainly. The power to overcome your good side, not so much anymore. Did he have anything to say about Ace and Jester?

Hanna: He called them wacko and crazy. Does that count?

DJ: I guess so...although he likes to call names when he has no power. Did they say where the portal was?

Jester: Yeah, we were waiting for both of you to wake up. Are you all ready?

DJ: I am if Hanna is... Hanna?

Hanna: Huh? Oh sorry, I was thinking about something... Right, I'm ready. Where is it?

Ace: There is one right here. *Motions beyond a cliff* Where is the Lui Mirror?

DJ: I've got it right here. Do you need it?

Jester: Yes. It acts as a link for the portal.

Ace: It shouldn't get anymore complicated than that. Alright. Jester, do the honors.

Jester: Sure. Will you hand me the mirror?

DJ: Ok, here you go. *Hands Lui Mirror to Jester* Please be careful with him, ok?

Hanna: How do we know he isn’t lying if he does tell us how to get Lui out? Wait, I hear something....

*DJ, Hanna, and party hear a voice from the entrance to the cabin*

Unknown: You can't trust that man. He is an Evil Other. Whatever he tells you will be completely false.

Unknown 2, voice varies from the first one a bit: The fact that he is an Evil Other does not make what he says false, older bro. And are you sure we should just barge in on them?

Unknown: We've been watching from the Other World for too long, little brother. Now is the time we help these poor Originals.

Unknown 2: True. *addresses Hanna and DJ* Turn around. Do you know there is no way to free Lui without causing his death?

Hanna: Who...who's there? What are you talking about? What do you mean there's no way to free Lui?! There has to be!!

*They turn around to see two cloaked figures, one with spiky brown hair and glowing red eyes, and the other with a rather large collar covering the bottom half of his face, and a round-rimmed top hat tilted so that it covers the top half*

Spiky haired man: Aww, the poor Originals have no idea what’s going on, do they?

Top hat man: Do not mock them, Jester. Let us explain what is going on. My name is Ace. *takes off top hat to reveal a suave, black hairdo and jade green eyes* And this is my younger brother Jester. How do you do?

Jester: That's a dumb question.

Ace: We have been watching you from what is called the Other World. Does that make any sense?

Hanna: Considering what I’ve been through prior to this, I wouldn’t doubt the existence of such… Why were you watching us and what are you doing here now?

Ace: We have nothing but the kind notion in our hearts to give you your friend back. Lui... he's stuck in the only portal between the original and other world. To pull him out of that portal from this side would be..... agonizingly painful, if it does not cause his death.

Jester: Long story short, you either follow us to the other world and push him out, or risk losing your friend forever.

Ace: The only problem is that the other world is where all others come from, evil or not. There is another way, however... would you accept it?

Hanna: I should at least hear the options. Whether I accept them or not is an entirely different matter... How do I know you’re not lying to me even now?

Jester: Oh, yeah...The girl with trust issues. Who could blame her? You can trust us.

Ace: What would we have to gain from lying to you?

Hanna: Everything I hold dear. The fact of the matter is, until you somehow prove to me that you are not lying, I will continue to doubt you. Forgive me for seeming hostile, but I’ve crossed paths with one too many traitors... What would you gain by telling me the truth anyway?

Ace: People of the other world do not seek to gain anything from others. We are content with ourselves.

Jester: We have one goal only: to set the original world back to the way it was. Before the Others were even in their own bodies. Before the war against good and evil.

Ace: With Lui, we may complete the aforementioned task. This is where those two options come in. Will you hear the second one?

Hanna: Sounds like a complicated situation... What is the other option?

Jester: We could use this here card to restore Lui to the way he was. Ace: But there's a catch. He will be returned to the state he was in before all this. Before he ever even met you. He won't remember any of you.... any of the friendships... So we can restore him now and try to convince him to join us again...or we could venture to the other world and attempt to rescue him from there. Which will it be?

Hanna: It just had to be something like that, didn’t it? He... wouldn’t remember me. Any of the times we had... including all the pain I caused him...

*Flashback*

Lui: Would....rather....die.....than....forget

Hanna: Are... are those the only ways?

Jester: Afraid so, my friend.

Ace: It doesn't seem you want to give your friend up. Can you find the strength to come to his aid? We will be with you every step of the way.

Hanna: Don’t call me your friend. A friend is more than an ally... Perhaps the best thing for him would be to give him up... for his own benefit. But, I...I don’t think I can do that... If I go with you and we fail... would you still be able to get him out using the card?

Jester: Sheesh, don't be so hostile. We'd be able to get him back using the card, yes. Besides, you always said Lui was annoying. Think about it. Would you really be such close friends if your friendship hadn't been strengthened through this ordeal?

Hanna: We were close friends before this! Just... I do believe our friendship has been strengthened... What will happen after we get him out?

Ace: You can finally turn this original world back to the way it should be! Without Lui your team isn't complete. When the world is the way it should be, your evil side will be washed away. Isn't that what you want?

Hanna: *Stares in shock* My...evil side....gone? How can that be possible? And what do you mean by team?

Jester: Haven't you realized yet? You three: You, DJ, and Lui are a team.

Ace: You're not strong enough by yourselves but together you can do whatever you want! And yes, your evil side will be wiped clean forever. Do you want your evil side?

Hanna: No, of course not! It’s just hard thinking of life without her because she’s been here for so long. But what you are talking about... it’s impossible! In fact, it sounds too good to be true. How can I believe that you would come all the way over here from your lives of contentment just to help us? It's too selfless... for anybody!

Jester: That's it, Ace. We're out. Originals just can't comprehend our means.

Ace: No, we must not give up so easily. I'll put it in a way she will understand. *Addresses Hanna* We may live in contentment with ourselves but that's not to say we don't have problems. Our problem is your kind. You have created us, yet you live so differently from what you originally intended. Putting things back in place would help us, as well. See what I'm getting at?

Hanna: There’s a reason why others were created. Maybe it has something to do with the way we live here! If our world was as nice as we would like it to be, why would others even exist in the first place?! Do you think that by setting things back into place that they won’t unfold again?!

Ace: You put up a good argument. They might unfold again, but this gives us a chance to make sure things don't. And Others were always there. But they were inside you. Where they belonged. Creating the other world was just so we could get the Others out of your way, and you out of ours.

Jester: Believe it or not, I'm an evil other.

Ace: And I am different kind of other. Called a Leader Other. They occur inside you once your true sense of leadership shows itself.

Jester: No Other wants to be a Human. They want to remain inside you and be a part of you, and not an individual of their own. And no human wants their other to become someone else.

Ace: Have you ever heard this before?

Hanna: I’m afraid I can’t say that I have... Why didn't I know of any of this before? How many Others can a single person have?!

DJ: Well, there's three of both of us... This just got really complicated, didn't it?

Hanna: Very much so. Do you believe them?

DJ: I'm not sure...Jester admitted to being an evil other! Is it even possible for one to become reformed to that extent?

Hanna: I do not know. Does EDJ even know how to get Lui out or has he been leading on us this whole time?

DJ: If Ace's and Jester's information is true, than it would lead me to believe that EO DJ was lying. Do you think we should trust them?

Hanna: You're asking me? I'm the girl with the trust issues, remember?

DJ: Well, I guess that is true... What would Lui want? He's sleeping now, so we can't ask him. Probably a good thing.

Hanna: I know he wouldn't want us to get him out if it made him forget. He probably wouldn't want us to risk our lives going to the other world to save him either. What should we do?

DJ: Out of those two options, I would choose going to this alternate world to save him AND his memories. Did EO say anything when Ace and Jester came? That may have some insight... perhaps...

Hanna: Not a word. I guess he was too busy thinking about that game with no internet. Are we both going to go to the other world?

DJ: Hmm...I'd rather I go alone...he's my other. If I go, would you wait right outside for me?

Hanna: You know that I would much rather have you stay while I go to the other world. I won’t let you go alone. You know that, right?

DJ: And vice versa, I'm sure... Should we wait for those two to wake up so they can tell us more? Or should we leave without them?

Hanna: I doubt we would make it very far without them. Did you know about any of the things they said?

DJ: I had heard rumors about this other world, but I never believed them... Do you suppose it's real?

Hanna: I guess there's only one way to find out... Are we both going then?

DJ: I suppose so...I would be glad to have you along in case something happens. Hopefully nothing does though... Wait, how do we get in anyway?

Hanna: Ace and Joker over there are supposed to know. What do we do about EDJ?

DJ: Hmm...perhaps we could take him with us. Although that would be equally risky as going in the first place. Should we wake them up?

Hanna: Nah, I don't feel like talking to them right now. The Joker one is getting on my nerves. I say we leave EDJ here. Maybe freeze him some more. Will that work?

DJ: That sounds like a good idea! Do you think Ace and/or Joker will go with us?

Hanna: They said they would. Then again, they said a lot of things that have yet to be proven. Do you think we should talk to Lui?

DJ: I don't think it would hurt anything...it might comfort him a bit too. Should we tell him about the plan?

Hanna: Not unless we have to. He would probably feel devastated if he knew... DJ, if we can't help him from the other side, will you let his memories be erased?

DJ: If there's absolutely no other option, I guess we would have to resort to that...although I don't know that I could bear seeing him not know us. But we'll make sure that we don't have to do that, right?

Jester: You...think I'm annoying? ....*sobs*....*snaps out of it* and who you callin’ JOKER?!

Ace: I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want us with you, but the other world will very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. How dangerous is your evil Other, DJ?

DJ: Haha, sorry about that Jester! And Ace, we'd be glad to have you along, it's just that we've had a tough time of late with choosing who to trust. Oh, EO isn't terribly dangerous as long as you don't let him talk...and keep him trapped in that block of ice. Why do you ask? Ace? Are you still there?

Hanna: Hmph, figures... Are you sure we can trust them?

DJ: Not entirely sure, considering how often they disappear like that... Do you think they can still hear us now?

Ace: Yeah, well I asked cause maybe Jester here and EDJ could make a team, you and Hanna make a team, and I'll take Lui. That way we don't leave anyone behind. Unless those Misty and Abby characters come back. Would you trust me with your friend?

Jester: *Sits down and ignores everyone*

Hanna: *Narrows eyes* I'd sooner trust you with my life. DJ?

DJ: Umm...I'll have to think about that for a bit. Are you sure leaving Jester and EO DJ together would be a good idea?

Ace: Well, you told me he wasn't that dangerous... Besides, I think they'd get along well.

Jester: *continues to ignore everyone while picks a flower* She hates me...she hates me not...she hates me...she hates me not.... Does she hate me?

DJ: Let the flower tell you, they never lie! Or do they...I'm not sure. EO's danger is in his speech. He can convince even the best of people to do something they don't want to do. But you probably already knew this.

Hanna: I'm a living example of that. Your starting to creep me out, Jester... What is your deal?

Jester: *Ignores*....Did you say something?

Ace: *facepalm* So what is the verdict? Do we send Joker with EDJ?

DJ: That depends... Are they coming with us into the other world?

Ace: They'll be there but you won't have to deal with them. Jester has some errands out of way. Sending EDJ with him would just seem more fitting, since they're both evil others. Jester just has 60% more self control.

Jester: *Cell phone rings* *answers* Hey...what?! No! I'm busy.....Yeah, that....she what? Of course not, you know I--....okay...bye... So what’s the hold up? I'm losing what little patience I had in the first place.

Ace: The call was from her?

Jester: Yeah…

Ace: Don't feel bad, brother.

Jester: What ever. So are we doing this or not? 'Cause we have a human hot on our tail.

Hanna: I guess so, but I'm starting to distrust you even more than I already do... Are you sure Lui will be safe here by himself?

DJ: Isn't Ace taking Lui with us? I'm in if Hanna is... What in the world are you talking about, Jester?

Hanna: I don't know! It's all so confusing! And Yes, Jester, what are you talking about?

Ace: Oh, just a bit of personal stuff.

Jester: Our original is looking for us. He's the only human in the world to spawn more than one other.

Ace: It's none of your concern, all right? You need to be more trusting, Hanna. Can you lend me your trust, just until we get your friend back?

DJ: Ha! I have two others...Lui and EO. Your information is incorrect!!!!! Can we actually trust you?

Ace: By all means. And what type of other is Lui?

DJ: I guess so... Ace, Lui is kind of a quiet, shy other. He really only opens up with friends. Does that help?

Hanna: I agree with DJ about the others issue... Either way, we're wasting time arguing about trust! Are we going or not?!

Jester: Fiiiiinally. I was starting to get a leg cramp. *Stands up and walks past everyone to the door* Let's get outta here.

Ace: Alright, I'm ready when you are. Do you know how far we are from the peak of these mountains?

DJ: About a 15 minute walk, 3 minutes by snowmobile.Why does this place bother you so much, Jester?

Ace: Good, then we aren't far from the pass to the Other World.

Jester: It doesn't. I was getting tired of incoherent blathering.

Ace: It was more than blathering.

Jester: Not to me.

Ace: We'll take the air and meet you at the summit. You all can fly can't you?

DJ: Hanna can, but I would need some sort of mechanical device that would allow me to fly. I'll just take the snowmobile...

Hanna: Wow, they took off pretty fast. I'll just be flying next to you, alright?

DJ: Ok. I'll set Lui and EO on the back here... Now that those two aren't listening in, do you think we can trust them?

Hanna: Not really, but...do we have a choice?

DJ: I guess not. Do you think we could take them if they attacked us?

Hanna: At this point we are still uncertain of the full extent of their powers. I hope it doesn't come down to that. How's Lui?

DJ: He's sleeping right now, as far as I can tell. If that's actually Lui and not just a fake picture of him on the mirror there. Who are you more worried about, Ace or Jester?

Hanna: Jester worries me, but Ace would seem to be the type of character that conceals much... What do you think about what they said would happen to evil others? Can it be true that they would simply...?

DJ: Disappear? I'm not sure... Wouldn't that mean that Jester would disappear too?

Hanna: That's what it sounds like. That's why this doesn't make sense... What do you think about Ace, is he trustworthy?

DJ: I wish it were easier to tell who to trust and who not to...this is definitely a challenge. He tries very hard to earn our trust through words, but he hasn't actually demonstrated any proof that his words are true yet. And yet we have no other option but to trust him... What's the worst that could happen?

Hanna: The worst? The three of us suffer very long and painful deaths and our evil selves take control of the world... We won't let that happen though, right?

DJ: Of course not! If we were to leave the mountain now, do you suppose they would be able to find us?

Hanna: What do you mean? Just leave them and runaway?

DJ: Only if you don't trust them enough to go into this other world... Do you?

Hanna: *Takes deep breath* We can't runaway from this. This is the only known way to save Lui. If you want to leave you can, but I will put my issues aside to help Lui. Alright?

DJ: I'm with you, but I just wanted to make sure that we know all our options. Any idea what we're in for there?

Hanna: Your guess is as good as mine at the moment. How will we be able to get there? Didn't they say Lui was in the only portal?

DJ: True, and then they said that it was at the top of the mountain... Is there a reason for these contradictions that keep coming up?

Hanna: Something had better start making sense soon. Is that the top over there?

DJ: Ah yes, that is the top. Brr, it's cold up here! At least for me... Apparently Ace and Jester decided to take a little break...I don't see them yet. Can you see the castle ruins from here?

Hanna: If you mean that big black pile of rubble, then yes. Ah, it's refreshing being up here! I have a feeling we'll need all the energy we can get. What do you think?

DJ: It certainly seems that way. Do you want to see if there's any remaining shelter in the ruins we can use while we're waiting for Ace and Jester?

Hanna: There's something over there you can use. Is it really that cold to you?

DJ: Yes...brrr! I'm freezing up here...you probably love it! I'll just walk over there and start a fire, if that's possible, ok?

Hanna: By all means, go ahead. I don't want you to get sick or worse, but yes I love it!!! Do you think they'll show?

DJ: Sometime sooner or later...or else we'll have to leave for supplies. Do you mind if I leave EO over there with you?

Hanna: Sure. Is he still able to talk?

Hanna: Just fine. Why wouldn't I be?

DJ: Just making sure...I'm going to rest for a bit here.

EO: Hey...Hanna, can you hear me?

Hanna: I wouldn't move my mouth very much if I were you. You forget that I have the advantage here. Why can't you just leave me alone?

EO: Remember that I was given the duty of converting you by my highest authority...I won't give up so easily. What's been happening lately? Do you actually trust those wackos?

Hanna: That's none of your concern. You're still trying to turn me evil?

EO: Not so much right now as it is relieving my boredom. How's Lui doing? Even if I hate him, he's still my other...

Hanna: You couldn't care less about what happens to him!! You weren't kidding about power of persuasion, were you?

EO: That's why I was the one hired for this particular job...and it almost worked too! Wouldn't you like to be evil?

Hanna: I was, if you recall, evil for a very short period of time. I never want that to happen again! So just stop, ok?

EO: Well, if what the crazy people said was true, if you save Lui or whatever, I disappear... Do you think that's true?

Hanna: I don't know. If it is, I'm more worried about DJ and Lui than I am about myself. Did you know about this portal situation?

EO: Just a little...you didn't freeze me in as much as the first time, so I can actually hear and be heard for a while. Are you all going in there? Are you taking me? Do I get to meet one of the wackos?

Hanna: Curiosity killed the cat. You want to stop now or do you want me to freeze you into unconsciousness again?

EO: Ok, I guess it's time for me to stop asking so many questions... What would you like to talk about, oh mighty captor?

Hanna: Hmm… This has nothing to do with my being evil or that lack thereof, but...what were you about to say before you passed out?

EO: I thought you actually possessed the power to be truly evil...apparently you don't. Ha, you don't even have the power to suppress what evil you do have! Would you like to push the button?

Hanna: Nope! Thanks though. You truly believe I'm not evil? What about all that false flattery you fed me back there?

EO: Seriously??? Haha, that was all to get you to believe that you truly had the evil in you. Self-motivation is one of the most powerful convincing tools I have! Did you believe that you truly had a great evil presence?

Hanna: You have no idea how happy that makes me. Whether you realize it or not, I do still have evil. Are you going to stop talking anytime soon?

EO: Probably not...I sense that this is my only chance to socialize (and potentially save myself) before the crazy people come back. What will they do with me?
